living until new employment can be found.
There are
three main forms of accident sickness unemployment insurance in the UK. Mortgage payment protection insurance, Income Protection insurance and Loan Protection
insurance. Accident sickness and unemployment cover can be taken combined. You may want
just A/S insurance on its own or U/E insurance on its own.

£1500 per month). Cheapest insurance rates for full ASU cover for the under 50's at £4.70 ASU back to day one
after 30 days. Discounts for 30, 60, 90 or 180 day excesses. Reduced rates for
mortgage protection with cover to £2000 per month.

cover monthly commitments. Insurance up to 90% of your TAKE-HOME pay or £3,000. Can have up to
18 months benefits, wider cover. Discounts for 30 day or 60 day excesses. Typical
rates: ASU £5%, AS/ U/O £3% - 60 day initial exclusion period and exclusion-free
transfer from other insurance policies.
