Introduction
This page enables you to compare business insurance and get quotes
for your business.
For small businesses insurance is usually provided on a
package basis. To compare our rates, therefore select the correct type of business
insurance. You may want to compare shop insurance, office insurance, surgery insurance or,
in the catering trade, restaurant insurance, wine bar insurance, take aways or even a public
house. Whatever your needs you can compare on our website a range of business insurance.
Additional Covers
Although you wish to compare business insurance - no doubt to
get good cover and a good quote - your business will probably need additional cover. For
example, you should consider Directors
and Officers Insurance. Directors
and Officers Insurance
- this covers your liability as a director or officer of the business, affording
protection against prosecution for e.g. corporate manslaughter, libel and slander. You should also consider Engineering
insurance - such things as coffee percolators need testing on a 6-monthly basis and of
course you need PAT testing on all your portable electric appliances that are over 12 months
old. We can provide quotes for these extras to your business insurance.
Non Package Business Insurance
Your business may not be suitable for a package deal. For
instance you may wish to compare public
and employers liability insurance as a contractor. Alternatively you may wish a
comparison for commercial combined business insurance:- this is more appropriate for
instance if you are involved in manufacturing, rather than having catering, or retailing as
your business.

Special Offer
Once you compare your business insurance, you may not have
obtained a cheaper quote through our website than you already have for your business. We are
prepared to help you save money by offering a fee-based service instead of a
commission-based service for your business insurance.
What?
Most brokers, ourselves included, receive a commission from
the insurance company with whom we place your business insurance. This commission is
included in the price you are quoted for your business insurance by the Broker and can range
from 20% to 30% (or more through banks!). (You can compare the commission you have to pay on
your business insurance by asking your broker). We are prepared, however, to administer your
business insurance by rebating all the commission and charging an annual fee of
£100.00. This (non returnable) fee includes costs for the work we do in handling the
transfer, inviting the renewal of your policy and any advice/ changes you may request in
cover. It does NOT include any premium charged by the company with whom you have the
business insurance. If you compare costs then this is only suitable for companies who are charged a premium
exceeding £530.00 by their insurer and you can request
a free-no obligation quote to see whether this could help you save on your business
insurance.
