We aim to provide various options so our policies range from a £50 excess to £150 for touring caravans whilst for static caravans you have the option of having a £100 franchise - no excess at all. What is a franchise? A franchise is a limit where claims below a certain amount won't be paid but if the claim exceeds the amount it will be paid in full - this reduces small claims and keeps the cost down.

Duty of disclosure

When applying for caravan insurance you have a duty to disclose all material facts, a material fact is one that could affect the policy, for instance, for static caravan insurance these could be: the location of the static caravan - whether there has been flooding at the caravan site, claims or if terms have been imposed policy.  If you have a touring caravan we would need to know if it was being let out or used as a permanent residence, if you are in doubt please call us.
