This classic car insurance provides online quotes for UK residents  for classic and cherished cars at least 10 years old in the UK. All drivers should be over 25 and the vehicle used for less than 5000 miles per annum. The proposer must have a full license for 3 years. The quotation you receive assumes a maximum of one fault claim value less than £7,500 or a theft away from the garage up to £5,000 and a single SP, MS10 or MS30 conviction. Other minor convictions and claims can be quoted for on referral A maximum value is £60,000. You may drive the vehicle to work and the vehicle may be your main vehicle. Cover is comprehensive with a £100 ADFT X/S (at least). You are limited to 6 named drivers.

Agreed Value Policies

• Agreed value is available for vehicles over 15 years old and valued at least £1,000. Younger Aston Martin, Bentley, Bristol, Jaguar, Daimler, MG (not Metro/Maestro, Montego), Morgan, Panther, Reliant Scimitar SS1, Rolls Royce, Triumph TR7/TR8 and TVR models will also be eligible for agreed values.

• We require 6 photographs (not Polaroid or digital - unless on photographic/ printed paper) showing front, back, nearside, offside, inside and engine bay. Until valuation has been made cover remains on market value basis. These photographs must be signed and dated on the back.

Cherished number plates

• We can offer insurance for cherished number plates as an extension under this policy. the cost is £1.05% up to a sum insured of £10,000 - higher sums on request.

Weddings

• An additional premium of £15.00 per wedding or, annually, 100% loading (minimum £150) will apply. This use is intended to provide an income to support the upkeep of the vehicle and is not available to private hire operators or where the wedding hire is the main source of income. (Please refer such matters to us)

Mileage

• If mileage has been exceeded renewal will be invited only on the higher mileage option. If the 7500 mile limit has been exceeded then renewal will be withdrawn. If this is not possible cover will be extended for one year at a 50% load and next year renewal will not be invited. Mileage will be checked at any claim occasion. If mileage has been exceeded the claim will be denied.

Extra Covers

• You may select legal expenses cover - if you do the premium is £14.70 and your demands and needs are extended to include that of a person who may need legal help to pursue a claim for uninsured losses following a non-fault accident and this legal expenses policy meets those demands and needs.

Renewals

Each year a renewal declaration is required. Failure to complete the declaration within 30 days will result in:-

• Cover will be restricted to market value after 30 days until declaration is received.

• Mileage allowance will be limited to a mileometer reading = previous declaration + selected mileage allowance. If mileometer reading exceeds this amount any claim will be denied.

• Renewal the next year will not be invited or cover accepted for 2 years.
