Welcome to our classic car insurance part of our website.
Online quotes are now available.
We offer cheap online quotes
for classic car insurance. Our classic car insurance policies are for UK customers and are
provided by companies specialising in the classic vehicle which, unlike an old worn-out
vehicle,
has been kept in good condition, or is rare, or just appreciated and needs a special
policy. Classic vehicles, in good condition, need policies to provide an
agreed value rather than market value. Our policies
provide that and more. See our quotation system for quotes through leading
companies.
The classic car insurance policy: cover and terms
As you know, classic car insurance
differs from other policies as it has many different
benefits. The most common differences in cover are shown below:-
-
A classic car insurance policy has no 'no claims bonus' clause
- your
premium won't be affected by the occasional claim
-
We can offer insurance for an 'agreed value' -
subject to sight of photographs
-
An agreed maximum annual mileage is selected e.g. 1,500,
2,000, 3,000, 5,000 etc - the more the mileage the higher the insurance premium.
-
The policy, unlike normal does not usually give 'driving
other vehicles' cover.
-
There is usually another main mode of transportation
(often insisted by the insurer)
-
The vehicle should be garaged - but
our insurance can cater for ungaraged vehicles
-
The vehicle should only be used for pleasure use
only - but we may allow commuting as well
-
All drivers on the policy must be mature and have good driving records.
We have cheap policies for insurance risks in England, Scotland or Wales (see
list). They
are all flexible and can cater for a wide variety of circumstances.
