Cover summary

  • Fire, explosion, lightning, earthquake, smoke, riot, civil commotion, strikes, labour or political disturbances, malicious acts vandalism, storm flood, water or oil escaping from fixed domestic appliance or system (inc trace) frost to fixed water or heating systems. theft or attempt thereat, impact by road, rail, aircraft, animals, subsidence, heave, landslip, accidental damage to cables or underground service pipes metered water, loss of rent, transfer of interest, professional fees, index linking. 
  • If unoccupied for more than 30 days cover is : fire, lightning, aircraft, explosion, storm, flood, subsidence, landslip, heave and property owners liability.
  • £1,000,000 property owners liability included
  • Rates also apply if an adjoining flat
  • If the property is unoccupied at inception then a new tenant should be pending or the property undergoing standard renovation not expected to last more than 6 months. Properties undergoing structural alteration/ renovation (should be insured under a contractors all-risks policy) or are pending sale are not acceptable
