Contract Hire/ Lease Hire GAP Insurance

This is a GAP Insurance to cover vehicles on Contract Hire or Lease Hire. Our Contract Hire/ Lease Hire GAP insurance is suitable for cars/ vans up to 3.5T that are on contract or lease hire providing that the monthly leasing costs do not exceed £1,000 (Ex VAT). We can also cover cars used for driving tuition that are leased/ on hire (but not Taxis). Please note that the car/ van must be on contract Hire/ Lease hire to qualify for this scheme. If the vehicle is on Finance then we recommend you look at our 'Finance GAP Insurance' contract or our 'Back To Invoice GAP Insurance' policy. (If you own the vehicle outright then 'Back To Invoice' is the only option available.

Our Contract Hire/ Lease Hire GAP Insurance Rates

Our GAP Insurance for vehicles on contract hire or lease hire is only available for UK cars, light vans and driving school cars under 3 years old at inception, which are on contract hire or on lease with monthly payments excluding VAT of £1000 or less. The policy must start within 3 months of the contract hire/ lease start date. Second Hand vehicles are acceptable. You can select 1,2,3, or 4 years cover - all for a single premium. All quotes include IPT (currently 5%). The benefit period starts from the date the Contract Hire/ Lease agreement commenced.

Buying Online

We do not issue policies online. What we do offer is the facility whereby you may apply for and pay for the insurance policy. Once this is done we will process your application and issue the policy documents. This we aim to do either during the same day - if your application is received in time - or on the next business day - if the application is received too late.
