Caravan/Camping/Trailer Tent Insurance Cover (Drewe)

Caravan Cover (see below for Camping/Trailer Tent Cover)

• New for old cover for Caravans under 1 year old  or 5 years old following a total loss or destruction incurring costs exceeding 60% of the original purchase price of the caravan. 
• Loss of or damage to the Caravan and equipment: including fixtures, fittings, refrigerators, gas bottles, awnings, toilet tents, batteries, stabilisers, wheel clamps, steps and balconies. Caravans less than 23 feet in length, left unattended for more than 2 hours will not be covered for theft unless a proprietary wheel clamp or hitch lock is fitted.
• Loss or damage to Contents and personal effects: included automatically for 20% of the sum insured for Caravan and Equipment. A single article of £300 applies and excludes cycles.
• Liability to the Public : Indemnity in respect of injury to third parties up to £2,000,000
• Loss of use: Cover for alternative accommodation if the caravan is rendered uninhabitable following a claim under this policy. Cover up to £24 per day, £750 in total.
• Continental Use: Cover operates (in respect of UK Tourers) for temporary visits to Europe for a total of 60 days in any one year. A 365 day European cover policy is available on request.
• A £75.00 excess applies other than for public liability. This increases to £100.00 for touring caravans left in Europe for more than 7 days without regular inspection

Trailer tent /Camping Equipment Cover

• A £50 excess applies for Trailer Tent/Contents and £25 excess for camping equipment/contents
• Cost of alternative accommodation up to £20 per day and £280 in total
• Legal liability up to £2,000,000 resulting from use of the trailer tent
