Accident Sickness and Unemployment Income/ Mortgage/ Loan protection insurance

This form is to request a quote for mortgage protection, income protection, loan protection or rent protection against accident/ sickness and/or unemployment. Cover is also available for utility bills and other monthly commitments

Summary | Policy

Some Notes

You can have up to £3,000 per month cover. However you must declare how your commitments stack up. There is also a limit of 90% of your NET income AFTER tax. All amounts should be MONTHLY amounts NOT annual amounts.

You can select accident / sickness only, accident, sickness and involuntary unemployment, or involuntary unemployment only.

Unlike a policy providing redundancy cover, this policy provides wider cover - it is for involuntary unemployment and covers more eventualities other than just those providing redundancy cover. See the policy summary.

You can select insurance for either 12 or 18 months benefits.

There is an initial exclusion of 90 days for unemployment i.e. if your loss of job is announced in the first 90 days after the policy is incepted then there is no cover. However this will NOT apply if you have had cover for the same amount for 3 months before you take out this policy. This should not be confused with the 'excess' you select which is 0, 30 or 60 days. (A '0' excess means 1st payment is made on day 31 to cover days 1-30 i.e. 'back to day one' cover)

The insurance premiums depend on the type of bills you have and your age.
