Assumptions |
To save you time we have made some assumptions when we provide a
quote. You may alter most of these assumptions by amending the answers below the <Obtain
default quotation button>
The last point may need explanation. If you take a voluntary excess you normally get a discount off your premium e.g. 10%. We feel that landlords would not want a high excess if the saving did not amount to much. Thus we allow you to select the actual amount that you would like to have before a quote appears. Thus at the default rate (25%) the system would only quote with a £100 voluntary excess if it works out that you would save at least £25.00 - similarly a quote with a £400 voluntary excess will only appear if the saving was at least £100.00. If you increase the rate e.g. to 50% it means that you only want to take an excess if a larger saving is made. If you reduce it e.g. to 10% it means that you don't mind a higher excess if it saves you money. |
