Long Stay Travel Insurance

Our long stay travel insurance policy is designed to meet the needs of a person who will be away on a long stay trip (> 3 months) without return to the UK. Long stay travel insurance policies are more suited to travellers who do not pre-book hotel accommodation such as people visiting relatives. Policy cover is better than Gap Year student travel insurance (but more expensive). We can cover travellers up to 75 years of age and for long stay travel up to 18 months. We can also offer in some cases the facility to return to the UK up to twice for short periods. Below are some sample quotes - including baggage cover. If you are under 40 you could look at the Student Gap Year policy which is a lot cheaper but the levels of cover are not as good. The rates below are sample rates for insurance UK customers could pay. Please ask for a bespoke quotation - excesses are shown for property/ medical expenses. Naturally we quote for long stay travel insurance to cover different lengths of trip, different ages of proposers (or families) and different countries.

Quotations are available in many cases for stop-overs out of area and for return to the UK mid-way through the trip. (most policies expire on 1st return to UK)

These quotations assume you are in good health and  do not have any specific travel insurance needs.  We also offer quotes for older people 75+ for up to three months with no age limit.
