If you are going on a gap year we have special rates for the young backpacker. If you are over 65, 70 or 75 going to Australia then we have special insurance rates as well (up to 150 days cover up to 84, longer extended stay insurance for people under 75). Stop Over
If flying to Australia you may wish to have a stop-over e.g. Singapore, Bali or whatever. If you do, you should check that your travel insurance will cover spending time out of the Australian area. This does cause us some problems because some policies, especially backpacker travel insurance and long stay travel insurance will allow a stop-over and some won't. We suggest when you use the travel insurance quote engine, you just put in 'Australia' at first and then look at the policy wording.
