Long stay travel insurance policies
We offer policies meeting the need for long stay
travel insurance. Our long stay travel insurance policies are either backpacker
policies (simple medical cover and not much else) or policies for the older person going on a
long stay. These long stay travel insurance policies are more similar to standard policies. If

premium depends on where you are intending to go. We offer cheap rates but, obviously if your
trip is intended to cover worldwide it could be more expensive, e.g. a trip to Canada or the
USA would cost more than Madagascar or
Kenya, whilst if you can restrict your trip to Europe or
Australia, the premiums may be cheaper still. Backpackers,
students on their gap year, may need cover for hazardous
sports - such a bungee jumping, white water rafting or even just casual
work abroad, whilst for the elderly traveler, such as oaps will
(presumably) not require such extensions of cover. The
premiums are normally substantially more
expensive than for a short single trip. We believe that as the amount of
work we do in setting up a policy is the same, the amount of commission we
should take is similar - so our online
travel insurance quotation system can give generous discounts. If
you don't want advice then the premiums we offer are discounted - you may, of course, wish to
discuss your needs with us - you may want confirmation that a certain hazardous activity is
covered or confirmation that the medical condition is covered. If so we are only too pleased
to help you, but as the policy is then on an 'advised' basis the internet discount will not be
allowed. Please note that any internet policy you buy, without contacting a broker, is on a
non-advised basis and if you make a mistake you only have yourself to blame if the policy does
