When you are over 65, travel insurance, single or annual, can be more expensive than for the younger traveler needing travel insurance. Travel Insurance over 65 costs even more if you are over 70, 75 or 80. We can arrange single trip insurance and long stay insurance for periods of up to 6 months when you are under 85 and have schemes available for people over 85 up to 154 days. Rates depend on the excess you wish to have - insurance policies start from NO excess on most claims to a £200 excess if you wish to keep the price down.
Over 65: Annual travel insurance
Even when over 65, we can offer annual travel insurance for worldwide and European travel.. Annual Travel insurance is available for people up to 84 with the insurance premium depending on the level of cover required. We can quote for European cover only or extend insurance cover to a worldwide basis if required including Canada and America.
Winter Sports/ Ski-ing
If you still like winter sports when over 65, over 70 or over 80 then don't worry. One of our insurance underwriters is a keen skier and has arranged cheap cover available for winter sports (at only a 40% load!) for any age up to 85. His argument is that an 'elderly' person is more likely to be experienced and know what to do on the piste rather than a tearaway youngster!
