Medical conditions

If, as a senior citizen, you want cheap travel insurance, you should note this fact. Many insurance companies impose terms for pre-existing medical conditions. As an older person who needs travel insurance it is likely that you may have one or more conditions. It is important that any health problems are declared before buying your insurance policy as failure to do so may result in it not being effective should a claim be made arising from those conditions. Many of the senior policies offered include medical screening lines for instant acceptance. Indeed you may find that the cheapest policy will not be the cheapest when adding on the cost to cover your medical condition. Long Stay

Senior citizen travel insurance is restricted for long stays. You often have problems. The fact that you are away for long periods means that many companies will not cover you and you may want to see your children - and welcome your new grandchild into the world - or have an extended break. This is not a problem to us - we can quote at the moment for up to 154 days up to 85 in Europe and are working on extending cover to a full year for the elderly up to 90.
